Teller

We are looking for a customer-focused Teller to support daily banking operations in a branch environment. The person in this role will help customers with routine banking needs while maintaining strong attention to detail, security, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers professionally and assist with routine banking requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Manage cash transactions such as check cashing, withdrawals, and deposits while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Open new customer accounts and ensure all required information and documentation are completed correctly.
• Verify deposit details and review transactions carefully to help protect account integrity and reduce risk.
• Balance cash drawers and monitor daily cash activity to support accurate branch operations.
• Address account-related questions and help resolve basic customer concerns with professionalism and care.
• Process a variety of financial transactions in accordance with banking procedures and internal controls.• Previous experience in customer service, banking support, or cash-handling environments.
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
• Familiarity with opening accounts and supporting general account maintenance activities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify transaction information and maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of financial transaction procedures, cash balancing, and drawer accountability.
• Knowledge of risk awareness and the importance of following established banking policies.
• Effective communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to customer interaction.
