Schedule
- Week 1 (60 hours): 2 days shifts and 3 night shifts with Wednesday and Thursday off
- Week 2 (60 hours): 3 days shifts and 2 night shifts with Tuesday and Wednesday off
- Week 3 (48 hours): 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off
- 60-60-48 hour rotational schedule
- 12 hour shifts
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Railroad operations run 24/7/365, providing consistent hours and reliable pay

What You'll Do
- Safely connect hoses, fittings, valves, and related unloading equipment to rail tank cars.
- Conduct pre‑unloading inspections, including seal checks, valve verification, and product documentation review.
- Monitor unloading operations, product flow, pressures, and equipment performance.
- Follow all safety procedures, including grounding, bonding, and lockout/tagout.
- Communicate with rail crews, yard staff, and supervisors regarding tank car movement and unloading processes.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Complete all logs, checklists, and operational paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized unloading area.
- Participate in required safety meetings, drills, and training programs. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to pass company, customer, railroad, and government background checks
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-focused
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Moderate computer skills required
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as needed Preferred
Qualifications
- Experience with fuel handling, chemical unloading, or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) procedures.
- Familiarity with pumps, valves, and industrial transfer systems. Work Environment &
Physical Requirements
This position takes place in an active rail yard and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. You should be comfortable with:
- Walking throughout the rail yard on paved, uneven, or unmaintained surfaces
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing as needed
- Climbing steps, ladders, and elevated surfaces
- Frequently entering and exiting vehicles
- Working around railroad equipment and materials
- Lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds
