Job Description
Now Hiring Receiving Associates for the West Valley
Schedule: Mon- Fri 7:30am to 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $21hr
Key Responsibilities
· Work as part of the receiving team to support inbound receiving activities from receipt through inventory placement.
· Inspect and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records.
· Process receipts accurately in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
· Identify and resolve discrepancies, including shortages, overages, damage, labeling issues, and documentation errors.
· Coordinate with purchasing, inventory control, carriers, and vendors to resolve receiving issues quickly.
· Maintain accurate inventory records through timely transactions, proper labeling, and correct product placement.
· Use RF scanners, computers, and warehouse software to process inventory efficiently.
· Monitor receiving workflows and recommend improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
· Perform inventory audits and cycle counts to support inventory integrity.
· Maintain complete receiving documentation and comply with company, GMP, safety, and client requirements.
· Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
· Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe.
· Support additional inventory and warehouse areas as needed.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 3+ years of warehouse receiving experience in distribution, manufacturing, or logistics strongly preferred.
· Strong knowledge of inbound receiving, inventory control, and discrepancy resolution.
· Experience with WMS, ERP systems, RF scanners, and warehouse technology.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
· Ability to analyze information, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems independently.
