Qualifications:

• Valid BEI Sign Language Interpreter License required
• Experience interpreting in educational or school settings
• Skilled in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Comfortable working with K-12 students of varying communicative needs
• Strong commitment to facilitating equitable participation for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate sign language interpretation for students and staff in classrooms, meetings, and school activities
• Foster clear, accessible communication between Deaf and hearing individuals
• Support students in both academic and social settings, ensuring they can fully participate
