Job Description
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment, efficient shipping and receiving, and reliable inventory control within a smaller warehouse environment. This position involves reviewing and processing customer orders, preparing shipments through multiple carriers, maintaining detailed inventory records, and operating material-handling equipment to support daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Review and verify customer orders to ensure correct part numbers, descriptions, and products are selected.
- Identify and resolve order discrepancies accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process customer orders for shipment through UPS, LTL, FedEx, and other carriers.
- Verify and maintain accurate records for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare service parts and finished goods for shipment.
- Perform monthly cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records for service parts and finished goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when parts, products, or packing materials are low.
- Maintain adequate inventory of cartons, tape, crates, clamps, foam, and other packing materials.
- Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and in person, including responding to parts-related inquiries (preferred but not required).
- Maintain accurate records for non-sellable and used warehouse inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and stock area.
- Operate forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, RF scanners, and other material-handling equipment as needed.
- Follow work orders and shipping documentation, including bills of lading, to ensure accurate order processing.
- Support general shipping and receiving activities, including sorting, packing, and labeling orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of prior warehouse experience.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers when needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to use RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory tasks.
- Experience with inventory control and inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and shipping documentation such as bills of lading.
- Forklift and warehouse material-handling experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, sorting, and packaging.
- Customer service oriented mindset with the ability to respond to parts-related inquiries.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience shipping with UPS, LTL carriers, and FedEx.
- Experience using ERP or SAP systems in a warehouse or inventory environment.
- Customer service experience
- Familiarity with packaging materials such as cartons, tape, crates, clamps, and foam.
- Experience working in a smaller warehouse environment and on a small team.
- Ability to maintain organized records for non-sellable and used inventory.
- Comfort working with multiple carriers and shipping methods.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment

You will work in a typical warehouse setting that involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks, RF scanners, and other material-handling equipment. The environment focuses on maintaining a clean, organized, and safe stock area while handling packaging materials such as cartons, tape, crates, clamps, and foam as part of daily operations.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
