Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support a trusts and estates practice in Worcester, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position focuses on preparing estate planning materials, coordinating client appointments, and ensuring signing meetings run smoothly in the office. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, clear communication, and experience working with legal documentation and case management systems.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare estate planning packets, supporting documents, and organized binders for client signing appointments.
• Coordinate in-office execution meetings by managing schedules, confirming appointments, and helping maintain an efficient signing process.
• Assist the attorney with drafting and revising legal documents related to trusts, estates, and other planning matters.
• Communicate with clients clearly and professionally to gather information, provide updates, and respond to routine questions.
• Maintain accurate matter records and document tracking within case management software.
• Review files for completeness and ensure required forms, signatures, and supporting materials are ready in advance of meetings.• Previous paralegal experience supporting trusts and estates or estate planning matters.
• Proficiency with case management software and digital file organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with attorneys and clients.
• Ability to manage scheduling, documentation, and multiple deadlines with close attention to detail.
• Experience preparing legal documents and assembling final client-ready materials.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential client information.
