Job Description
Take advantage of predictable Monday-to-Monday block scheduling with approximately one week of coverage per month in a hospital-based gastroenterology practice featuring a broad procedural mix.
- One week of coverage per month
- Hospital-based gastroenterology practice
- Adult patient population only
- Broad endoscopy and consultative case mix
- Mix of inpatient consults and hospital-based outpatient procedures
- Perform general gastroenterology coverage, including ERCP, rounding, consults, and endoscopy procedures
- Average of 4-6 outpatient procedures and 1-3 inpatient procedures daily
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, anesthesia professionals, and hospital staff
- Monday-to-Monday coverage blocks
- Approximately one week per month
- Morning rounds, procedures, and afternoon consults
- 24-hour call while on assignment
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Idaho medical license or active Interstate Medical License Letter of Qualification
- BLS and DEA required
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
- Travel arrangements are coordinated for scheduled coverage blocks
