Location: Northwestern Kansas, near the Nebraska and Colorado borders

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Flexible 6 on/8 off scheduling available. Facility operates on Central Time.

Highlights:\n

• Provide specialized nursing care to obstetric, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital
\n
• Work with advanced Avel eHealth technology providing 24/7 access to trained nurses and physicians for consultation, documentation support, and emergency assistance
\n
• Cross-train to support emergency and medical-surgical services as needed, expanding your clinical skill set
\n
• Participate in obstetric call schedule with opportunity to assist in vaginal and cesarean deliveries
\n
• Extension contract opportunity through May 2027 with competitive compensation including charge differential available
\n
• Serve a rural community with a nonprofit hospital dedicated to improving health through access to quality care since 1953
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state
\n
• Minimum one year of Labor and Delivery experience required
\n
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
\n
• Current FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) – Advanced or Intermediate level
\n
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
\n
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications preferred
\n
• Comprehensive immunization records including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and seasonal Influenza
\n
• Successful completion of specialty competency exam with 80% or higher score
\n
• Ability to respond rapidly to obstetric and neonatal emergencies with strong assessment and critical thinking skills
\n
