American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an OB/GYN Clinic role requiring EPIC experience and knowledge of obstetric emergencies.

- Work in an OB/GYN clinic setting providing maternity and gynecological care to women \n
- Perform clinic duties including telephone triage, patient teaching, and follow-up phone calls \n
- Respond to patient inquiries via EPIC and voice message \n
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) \n
- No weekend shifts required \n
- No on-call responsibilities \n
- May be required to float between sister facilities \n
- \n
- Active WA or Compact RN license required within 2 weeks of start (pending applications accepted) \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- C-EFM certification preferred \n
- 1 year of experience preferred; L&D experience accepted in lieu of OB/GYN clinic experience \n
- EPIC EMR experience required \n
- Knowledge of obstetric emergencies including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, and pregnancy-induced hypertension (gestational hypertension and preeclampsia) \n
- Ability to appropriately triage obstetric concerns over the phone \n
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required \n

- Provide maternity and gynecological care including pelvic exams, vaginal bleeding assessment, and management of conditions such as pelvic inflammatory disease and spontaneous abortion \n
- Perform office duties such as scheduling appointments, medication refills, and pharmacy calls \n
- Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, pain assessment, and health history intake \n
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Local candidates accepted \n
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates within the radius may be accepted at a lower bill rate \n
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility \n
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as post-submission RTO requests may not be granted \n
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) \n
