Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) Director of Nursing for a travel nursing job in Flandreau, South Dakota.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
\n Nursing degree from an accredited college or university required
\n Minimum 3 years of recent Director of Nursing (DON) experience required
\n Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership/supervisory experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related healthcare facility
\n Current CPR/BLS certification required
\n Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations, QAPI, and nursing operations
\n Proven experience managing nursing staff, admissions, scheduling, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and quality improvement initiatives
\n Ability to work 5x8-hour day shifts with on-call responsibilities as needed
\n Must successfully complete both the agency and facility-required background check and drug screen prior to starting (facility clearance may take 7–10 business days)
\n Housing may be available through the facility based on availability
\n Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
