American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position at a Critical Access Hospital requiring a MN RN license and 2+ years of ER experience.
Details\n- \n
- Work in the ER (Emergency Room) of a Critical Access Hospital in an acute care setting \n
- Low-volume unit seeing fewer than 300 patients per month, typically staffed with 1 nurse \n
- Patient population includes diverse cultural groups, with rare psych and occasional pediatric cases \n
- MIs and CVAs are typically transferred out, and challenging pediatric cases are transferred to Children's in St. Cloud or St. Cloud Hospital \n
- Uses MEDITECH as the charting system/EMR \n
- Uses Plum IV pumps and Nihon Kohden cardiac monitors \n
- 12-hour rotating day/night shifts with every 3rd weekend required \n
- 36 guaranteed hours per week \n
- 13-week assignment length \n

- Active MN RN license required \n
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS or TNCC \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required \n
- MN NetStudy fingerprint requirements must be met for consideration \n

- Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population including Latino and Micronesian communities \n
- Facility does not have security staff or locked rooms, though the hospital is capable of lock-down procedures \n
- 12 hours of orientation provided \n
