Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details\n

\n
• Work in an Acuity Adaptable Critical Care Unit that is not a pure ICU setting
\n
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
\n
• 13-week assignment length
\n
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
\n
• Uses EPIC EMR system
\n
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active WI or compact RN license required
\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
\n
• Current ACLS certification (AHA) required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
\n
• ICU experience including post-cath patient care required
\n
• CRRT experience required
\n
• Competency in sheath pulls required
\n
• Balloon pump and Swan-Ganz catheter experience preferred
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
\n
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
\n

• Provide critical care nursing to acuity adaptable patients including post-cath cases
\n
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
\n
• Local candidates are accepted, though may qualify for a reduced rate based on proximity
\n
• Candidates should begin discussing extension opportunities with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
