\nWill accept locals - local rate will apply
\nShift: varying shift, Mon-Fri
\n10 hour days
\n40 hours a week
\nMust be certified
\n1 year experience required
\nNeed people with broad experience and especially vascular because they will be taking call and need to scrub for those procedures as well.
\nMust have ortho experience
\nOperating room surgical technician is an integral member of the multidisciplinary surgical team.
\nThe surgical technician acts as a scrub person, prepares and handles instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during a surgical procedure.
\nHe/She has an understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of thesurgeon.
\nHe/She works collaboratively with other team members to assure quality patient care during the operative procedure.
\nThe surgical technician functions under the supervision of a registered nurse.
\nParticipates in the oncall schedule for afterhours urgent/ emergent surgical cases, unless otherwise indicated.
