American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT Mammography registry and experience in 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms.
Details\n- \n
- Inpatient and outpatient work settings within the Radiology/Mammography department \n
- Performs 3D mammography, digital mammography, screening mammograms, and diagnostic mammograms \n
- Uses Hologic 3D mammography equipment \n
- Charting/EMR system is Epic; prior Epic experience preferred \n
- Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 hours) \n
- 13-week assignment length \n
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist \n
- ARRT registry in Mammography required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- VA BOM license required if applicable, with license active and in hand at time of consideration \n
- Experience with 3D, screening, and diagnostic mammograms required \n
- DEXA experience preferred \n
- Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Core Measures required \n

- Facility is a smoke and nicotine-free environment \n
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31), with exemptions handled per CMS guidelines \n
- COVID-19 vaccination verification required, with exemptions handled per CMS guidelines \n
- Floating, if required, will be in rotation with client staff according to facility policy and Joint Commission standards \n
- Up to 7 hours of non-billable orientation modules required, completed during onboarding \n
- Requests for time off should be minimized and submitted prior to assignment start, with approval at manager discretion \n
- Some holiday coverage should be expected \n
- Previous staff members of the facility must wait one year before returning as a traveler \n
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position \n
