Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time for FY 2025/2026

Position Overview:
The Middle School General Studies Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in core subjects such as English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. The ideal candidate will create a positive and stimulating learning environment that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement creative and effective lessons aligned with academic standards.
Teach core General Studies subjects, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of middle school students.
Assess student progress through regular assignments, projects, and evaluations.
Provide a nurturing and supportive classroom atmosphere to build students' confidence, independence, and motivation.
Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to ensure the success and growth of each student.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance instruction.
Maintain classroom management while cultivating respect, responsibility, and strong character traits.
Prepare students for the transition to high school by developing critical thinking and study skills.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Masters degree in Education or a related field (required).
Teaching certification preferred.
Previous experience teaching middle school-aged students, preferably in a private school or Yeshiva setting.
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to engage students through dynamic and differentiated instruction.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about education and committed to student growth.
