Litigation Paralegal (Temp-to-Hire)Boutique Law Firm
Our client, a highly respected boutique law firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional looking to demonstrate their skills with the potential to transition into a permanent position. While the primary focus of this role is litigation support, Trust & Estates experience is highly preferred.
ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation databases.
Coordinate and assist with document production, review, and organization.
Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness files, and deposition summaries.
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics.
Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors.
Assist with probate and trust administration matters as needed.
Prepare estate planning and probate-related documents when applicable.
Perform electronic filing in both state and federal courts.
Minimum of 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
Trust & Estates experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Florida state and federal court rules and filing procedures.
Experience managing complex litigation files from inception through trial.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) certification or paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
