Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)


Schedule: 3 Days per Week | 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

Position Overview

Bond Health is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation, assessment, and speech-language therapy services to students with speech, language, communication, and feeding disorders.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized treatment plans that support each student's educational and developmental success.

This position reports directly to the Coordinator of Therapeutic Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess students' speech, language, communication, and feeding needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.

  • Provide individual and/or group speech-language therapy services.

  • Monitor student progress and prepare timely progress reports.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members regarding treatment goals and student progress.

  • Train and support assigned staff on feeding plans and prescribed therapeutic interventions.

  • Provide written recommendations, educational materials, and resources to families and school staff.

  • Make referrals and recommendations for additional services when appropriate.

  • Stay current with best practices through continuing education and professional development.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current New York State Education Department (NYSED) certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.

  • New York State licensure.

  • Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting preferred.

  • Experience working with students with developmental disabilities is a plus.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
