About the Role:
Exceptional Pediatric Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team in Houston, TX! In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by delivering high-quality, culturally responsive speech and language services. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication disorders
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) therapy services to children and families from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs/IFSPs) based on assessment findings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators
- Conduct standardized and dynamic assessments in both English and Spanish
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, and reports
- Educate and coach parents and caregivers on home practice strategies and therapy goals
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Familiarity with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented professional with strong communication skills
