About the Role:
 Join Comfort Care Homecare Inc as an Occupational Therapist and be a key player in enhancing lives. Your role involves conducting personalized therapy interventions for diverse populations and various age groups, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to improve functional abilities. Educate clients on adaptive techniques, maintain accurate records using electronic health systems, and stay current on occupational therapy advancements. Uphold ethical standards, engage in ongoing professional development, and contribute to our supportive work environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and treatments to clients in their homes
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Instruct clients and their families in home exercise programs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure optimal client care
• Document progress and treatment plans
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for accurate and compliant patient record management
• Working with diverse populations and age groups.

Requirements:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to ethical and professional standards.
