TX-STAR Speech Language Services partners with school districts throughout Texas to provide specialized support for students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. We are currently seeking School Psychologists for school-based opportunities in the Dallas area.

These positions are ideal for professionals who are committed to student well-being, comprehensive assessment, and using data-informed strategies to improve educational and behavioral outcomes.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a School Psychologist, you will provide evaluation, consultation, intervention, and collaborative support within a school-based environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations using appropriate assessment methods

  • Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments

  • Analyze evaluation results to help determine eligibility and appropriate service recommendations

  • Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of Individualized Education Programs

  • Provide consultation, counseling support, and evidence-based behavioral intervention strategies

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary team members

  • Assist campus teams in creating classroom interventions and individualized behavior support plans

  • Participate in ARD and IEP meetings and clearly communicate findings and recommendations

  • Complete reevaluations in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements

  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation that meets district and compliance standards

Qualifications for This Position

  • Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field

  • Current Texas license or credential authorizing practice as a School Psychologist

  • Experience administering, scoring, and interpreting cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments

  • Strong understanding of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate successfully with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong organization, documentation, scheduling, and time-management abilities

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred
