Occupational Therapist (OT) - School Based

About the Role:
As a School Based Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and throughout their lives. You will work closely with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to identify and address the unique needs of each student. Our ideal candidate for the position of an OT, is a licensed occupational therapist with a passion for child-centered care and a commitment to delivering high-quality services that promote growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and daily living skills
Complete evaluations, assessments, progress reports, and required documentation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families
Participate in IEP meetings as needed
Maintain compliance with school policies, confidentiality requirements, and HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy
New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
