This role is for that teacher.

A public school district in Arlington, New Jersey is looking for a High School Biology Teacher on a long term contract starting this school year.

What you will be doing:

• Teaching high school Biology aligned with New Jersey state curriculum standards
• Developing lesson plans that incorporate laboratory investigations and scientific inquiry
• Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Assessing student learning and providing feedback through formative and summative assessments
• Maintaining a safe laboratory environment in line with science safety protocols
• Communicating regularly with parents, administrators and support staff on student progress

What you need to bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Science Education or a related field
• Valid New Jersey Teacher of Biology Certification
• Experience teaching Biology at the high school level preferred
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
