Medication Technician

Medication Technician - Wappinger Falls 

Adult Home Facility is looking for an energetic candidate to work in our Medication Department. Prior experience is a plus, will train!!

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Prefer previous experience on medication administration in Adult Care Facility or ALP setting
• Knowledge of assisted living/ACF DOH Regulations
• Must be able to follow direction and protocol after training
• Highly organized, and attention to details
• Knowledge of Compucare & Framework is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Treating every Resident with the utmost respect
• Pouring meds as per the five rights
• Comprehensive understanding of MAR
• Properly documenting as per your training
• Informing Supervisor of any issues found with the medications
• Ordering and putting away medications
• Proper refilling of regular and narcotics medications
• Other duties as needed
