Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily care needs while promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility

  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident living areas

  • Set up rooms with necessary supplies, linens, and equipment

  • Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team

  • Document care accurately and timely

  • Encourage resident engagement, social interaction, and emotional well-being

  • Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and fellow caregivers to provide exceptional care

  • Follow all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Active, unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • Long-term care experience preferred but not required

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

  • Reliable, compassionate, and committed to resident-centered care
