Caring Angels Home Care is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for our New Jersey Senior Center. As a CNA you will play an integral role in the day to day activities of our organization. We offer convenient flexible schedules. This position offers a competitive Benefit Package.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.

• Provide compassionate care tailored to residents with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments.

• Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges.

• Observe and report changes in residents' health status or behavior to the nursing team promptly.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, social workers, and physicians to support comprehensive resident care plans.

Skills

• Experience working in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities.

• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Point Click Care for accurate documentation.

• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and basic life support procedures.

• Ability to provide specialized dementia and memory care with patience and empathy.
