Oracle Application Specialist
This role is offered on a contract-to-hire basis, meaning you will start as a contractor with the potential to transition into a permanent, full-time employee based on performance.
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for Oracle Applications R12, diagnosing and resolving functional and technical issues to ensure system stability and optimal performance.
- Perform data loading, extraction, and conversion activities, including validating data integrity and supporting migration efforts across systems and environments.
- Leverage strong expertise in Oracle Financials and/or Manufacturing/Supply Chain modules to support business operations, identify process improvements, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Design, modify, and enhance workflows, reports, and system configurations to meet evolving business requirements, including collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into effective technical solutions.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ yrs Oracle Applications 11i (Financials, Manufacturing/Supply Chain) experience; modules including:
- Inventory
- GL and other finance modules
- Order Management (OM), WSH, WMS, Advanced Pricing
- Bill of Materials (BOM), OSFM, WIP
- PO, I-expense, HRMS
- Data import / export / conversion experience.
- Oracle modules Interface experience
- Worked extensively on Conversions, Interface building, Extensions and Customizations
- Hand-on experience in full development life cycle
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic, team environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are highly desired
- PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, Workflow, Alert,
- Developer 10g, Forms, Discoverer 11, OAF customization, and personalization
- Readiness to work on Integration tools and learn new skills
Preferred
- EDI development (ecommerce Gateway and Release management)
- SharePoint familiarity
Core Competencies
Required: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Mandarin a plus but not required.
