School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) – In-Person | Stockton, CA & Surrounding School Districts


Celebrations Speech Group is hiring an in-person Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate full-time, school-based opening serving Stockton, CA and surrounding school districts.

Join a collaborative special education team providing occupational therapy services to students in a supportive, inclusive school environment. Celebrations Speech Group is a private practice and Non-Public Agency with decades of experience providing quality special education and therapy services to children with special needs in schools, homes, and in clinics. Responsibilities:
  • Implement direct Occupational Therapy services and implement IEP treatment plan.
  • If needed, supervision of a COTA.
  • Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.
  • Update student progress reports.
  • Implement and document the therapeutic interventions and provide feedback to the special education team and COTA on the student's progress during treatment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
Qualifications:
  • REQUIRED: Current California Board of Occupational Therapy license.
  • Graduate Degree in Occupational Therapy with an active California OT license or eligibility pending.
  • Ability to build rapport with staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and collaborative demeanor.
