PM Mechanic - Full-time

Approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly. (Overtime is time and a half after 40 hrs) **Schedule:** 3:30pm start time averaging approximately 10 hours per day. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. **Benefits:** We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, 401(K), and more. **Duties & Responsibilities:** + Execute preventative maintenance inspections and services on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment: change engine oil, filters, inspect brakes, suspension components, lights, belts, tire pressure, and more. + Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on diesel vehicles. + Complete inspection reports and maintenance documentation accurately + Identify and report potential mechanical issues to supervisors and diesel techs. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment + Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. **What we need from you:** + Ability to lift at least 50 lbs + Ability to work outside + Proficiency in a variety of diesel vehicle diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
