Physician Associate Job Overview

Step into a key role as a full-time Physician Associate (PA) at TNI, where your expertise will be crucial in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing sleep disorders. Working in a collaborative environment alongside physicians, sleep technologists, and support staff, you'll deliver top-tier care that enhances patients' sleep health and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Thorough Evaluations

  • Perform detailed patient assessments, gather medical histories, conduct physical exams, and evaluate sleep concerns

Diagnostic Interpretation

  • Analyze sleep studies, including polysomnography and home sleep apnea tests, to inform patient care

Collaborative Diagnosis & Care Planning

  • Partner with physicians to pinpoint diagnoses and craft effective, evidence-based treatment strategies

Treatment Oversight

  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
  • Manage medications and interventions for sleep disorders
  • Educate patients on sleep hygiene and lifestyle changes to support better outcomes

Ongoing Care & Documentation

  • Manage follow-up visits and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Coordinate specialist referrals
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient encounters

Patient Advocacy

  • Deliver care with empathy and compassion
  • Support patients and families throughout their treatment journey
  • Address patient concerns to ensure a supportive care experience
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Current, valid Physician Associate (PA) license in Virginia
  • Experience in sleep medicine is a plus but not required
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to patient-first, compassionate healthcare
