South Lake gastroenterology is currently looking for a full-time Histotechologist at our Pathology Lab in Clermont, Florida.

As a Histotechnologist at South Lake Gastroenterology, you will play a vital role in preparing tissue samples . Currently, we process 70-100 specimens per day at our lab. You role will include various laboratory responsibilities including embedding, sectioning and staining tissues. 

Our office is located in Clermont, FL, 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process tissue  (TC )
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all instruments are functioning properly
• Perform quality control measures to ensure high standards in processing and staining procedures
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety stands, protocols and regulatory requirements.
