About the Role:
Sparks Concrete LLC is looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team in Bunnell, FL! In this key role, you'll be at the heart of our project pipeline — analyzing costs, crafting competitive bids, and helping drive the success of concrete construction projects from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete construction projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop comprehensive bids
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive pricing
• Collaborate with project managers and field crews to align estimates with real-world conditions
• Track and analyze project costs against estimates to improve future bidding accuracy
• Maintain organized records of bids, contracts, and cost data
• Identify potential project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates

Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in concrete or civil work
• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and labor costs
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and strong mathematical aptitude
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and subcontractors
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
