Location:

Cincinnati, Ohio – 100% on-site in a collaborative corporate headquarters environment. While this is an in-office role, occasional work-from-home flexibility is available for unique personal situations such as caring for a sick child or home repair appointments.

Note:

Candidates must have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and strong Excel skills. Experience preparing SEC financial reporting for a public company and/or an active CPA are highly preferred.

Job Description

  • Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and Proxy Statements.
  • Assist with month-end close activities and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Prepare account reconciliations using BlackLine.
  • Support financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Assist with lease accounting administration and equity compensation accounting.
  • Partner with accounting, FP&A, tax, legal, and operational teams across the organization.
  • Prepare schedules supporting quarterly reviews and annual external audits.
  • Assist with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit remediation efforts.
  • Support tax projects including income tax provisions and various tax filings.
  • Participate in special projects that improve accounting processes and financial reporting.
  • Help support ERP-related accounting processes and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • SEC reporting experience for a publicly traded company preferred.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • JD Edwards or Oracle ERP experience preferred.
