About the Role:
Join the KEVA team as a Volleyball Referee and help create a fun and engaging environment for young athletes! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for officiating games while fostering a positive sportsmanship atmosphere. Bring your passion for volleyball and make a difference in the lives of our players!
Responsibilities:
- Officiate volleyball games for youth players, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules.
- Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and parents during matches.
- Monitor game flow and manage game time, including timeouts and substitutions.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills and understanding of the game.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the games.
- Assist in setting up and taking down equipment before and after matches.
- Attend training sessions to stay updated on volleyball rules and officiating techniques.
- Resolve any disputes or conflicts on the court in a calm and professional manner.
- Previous experience in officiating volleyball or similar sports preferred.
- Strong understanding of volleyball rules and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Passion for youth sports and commitment to fostering a positive environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check.
