Industrial Electrician Controls Technician

Description:

Responsibilities:

· Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol

· Troubleshoots, repairs, and programs complex automated machinery and electrical systems within the facilities

· Operate CNC machines for lathe and mill work, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks.

· Program and set up machines, with experience in Mazak machines being advantageous but not necessary.

· Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments to inspect parts according to drawings and specifications.

· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and process plans effectively.

· Collaborate with the team to enhance manufacturing processes and optimize production setups.

· Operate hand tools and precision measuring instruments

· Inspect alarm systems such as carbon dioxide and fire protection and quickly schedule repairs when needed

Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Technical School; Industrial Maintenance, CNC Machining (preferred)

· Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

· Ability to troubleshoot CNC processes

· Understand Electrical and wiring components

· Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician

· Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds

· Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
