My Time 2 Launch (MT2L) is a neurodiversity-affirming ABA therapy organization providing in-home and community-based services across Florida, Georgia, and Michigan. We were founded on a simple but uncommon premise: that behavioral therapy should expand a person's autonomy, not just their compliance. Our proprietary Empowerment Model puts autonomy, assent, communication, regulation, and connection at the center of everything we do — treating the people we serve as partners in their own growth rather than subjects of it. Led by a BCBA who is a mom of a young adult on the spectrum with more than two decades in behavioral healthcare, MT2L exists to help individuals on the spectrum build the real-world skills, self-advocacy, and independence that let them launch into the lives they choose for themselves.

My Time 2 Launch is currently seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with a bright, articulate, and highly communicative teenager on the autism spectrum. This is an engaging role for someone who enjoys working with a capable young person ready to build real-world independence.

The focus of this position is independence and daily-living skills — practical, meaningful goals worked on both in the home and out in the community (think running errands, navigating public spaces, managing routines, self-advocacy, and the everyday competencies that build toward greater autonomy). Because this teen is verbal and socially engaged, the work is collaborative and conversation-rich; the right technician will be someone who can connect authentically, respect the teen's voice and preferences, and coach with warmth rather than just direct.

Schedule:

  • Summer: Monday through Friday, 12:00–5:00 PM
  • Fall: Flexible afterschool hours to fit the school-year routine
What makes a great fit:

  • Active RBT certification
  • CPR Certification - or willingness to obtain one before hire
  • Clean criminal background - ability to pass a Level II background screening
  • A genuine, respectful, neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors the teen's autonomy and assent
  • Comfort working in community settings and modeling skills in real-world situations
  • Reliable transportation, since the role moves between home and community locations
  • Strong communication skills and the maturity to build rapport with an insightful, articulate teen
  • Patience, creativity, and an interest in fostering independence rather than dependence
My Time 2 Launch offers competitive salaries, paid time off, paid holidays, health care, vision, dental and a 401k. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in a motivated teen's growth toward independence. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
