PART-TIME 8am - 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, rotating weekends

Activities Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Activities Assistant to join our team at Pine Trail Nursing and Rehab Center! As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that cater to their interests and needs. Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

• Follow the activities calendar to ensure a variety of events and activities are offered to residents

• Encourage resident participation in activities and assist with event setup and cleanup

• Follow the resident's plan of care regarding activities and ensure their engagement and well-being

• Complete room visits and 1:1 visits to promote socialization and interaction among residents

• Update the activity log for each resident daily to track their participation and progress

• Collaborate with the Activities Director to update activities based on resident preferences and feedback

Activities Assistant Requirements:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be able to pass level 2 background check - fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
