About the Role:
Join Americas Little Leaders Christian A as a Childcare Director in Opa Locka, FL, where you will lead a dedicated team in nurturing and developing young minds. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the childcare center to ensure a safe and engaging environment.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and the community.
- Monitor and manage budgets, including tuition and expenses.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's development and progress.
- Promote a Christian-based approach to education and care.
Requirements:
- An associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare management or leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of child development and early education principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children and staff.
- CPR and first aid certification preferred.
- Passion for working with children and fostering their growth.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
