Registered Nurse (RN) - Correctional Facility

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Facility

• Schedule: Minimum of 2 shifts per week, including weekend coverage
• Shift: First Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Pay Range - $60.00-65.00 an hour paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Independently implement the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Carry out physician orders, including medication administration and treatments.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress and nursing interventions.
• Change dressings and provide wound care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and prepare required reports.
• Make sound clinical decisions in routine situations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of patient treatment and healthcare plans.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and professional nursing standards.

Requirements

• Licensed RN in CT
• Experience in emergency, behavioral health, and correctional experience highly preferred, not required
