Interview Required

Responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through shipping coordination, part finishing (cleaning/anodizing), and quality inspections. Ensures all products meet company, customer, and ISO quality standards while maintaining accurate documentation and efficient workflow in a production environment.


Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Documentation

  • Coordinate pickups with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight) and schedule company deliveries
  • Prepare and verify all shipping documentation (labels, certifications, lot numbers, logs)
  • Ensure configuration documents and packaging instructions are accurate and up to date
  • Create Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN) as required
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory documentation

Production Support & Operations

  • Assist production teams to maintain workflow and meet schedules
  • Support machine uptime by coordinating with teams for setups and issue resolution
  • Participate in daily production meetings (Safety, Quality, Operations)
  • Identify process improvements and support 6S/lean initiatives
  • Train team members once proficient in the role

Finishing (Cleaning & Anodizing)

  • Clean, inspect, and process parts for anodizing and passivation
  • Package materials per customer specifications ensuring no damage
  • Verify process orders and report any quality or scheduling issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow PPE requirements

Quality Inspection

  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Perform first article/first piece inspections
  • Support corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure accurate documentation of inspection results


Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing / production environment
  • Experience in shipping, inspection, or finishing processes preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and quality systems is a plus


Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, documentation systems)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Good visual acuity (including color differentiation)


Work Environment

  • Manufacturing / production setting
  • Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and chemicals
  • Moderate to high noise levels in certain areas
