What You'll Do

Curriculum & Instruction

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences using our exclusive Wonder of Learning® curriculum
• Foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through purposeful play and exploration

Classroom Leadership

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and inclusive classroom environment
• Establish positive routines that encourage independence, confidence, and learning

Family Partnership

• Build strong relationships with families through open, ongoing communication
• Share children's progress, milestones, and daily experiences with parents and guardians

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing requirements
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to maintain a secure and supportive environment

Assessment & Documentation

• Observe and assess children's development and learning progress
• Use assessments to individualize instruction and share meaningful insights with families

Team Collaboration

• Partner with Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers to create a positive and productive classroom culture
• Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on student success

Professional Growth

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Stay informed on best practices in early childhood education

Social-Emotional Development

• Model and implement positive behavior guidance strategies
• Support children in developing healthy relationships, self-regulation, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred
• Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and colleagues
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care and supervision of children
