A well-established and growing outpatient OB/GYN practice in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our collaborative clinical team.

Position Summary


The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic and preventive healthcare services to women across the lifespan. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's health, preventive medicine, patient education, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.


This role offers the autonomy to practice while collaborating closely with physicians and an experienced interdisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and outstanding patient outcomes.


Responsibilities


  • Perform comprehensive women's health evaluations
  • Conduct annual well-woman examinations
  • Perform Pap smears and pelvic examinations
  • Diagnose and treat common gynecologic conditions
  • Provide contraception counseling and family planning services
  • Perform STI screening, evaluation, and treatment
  • Provide preventive healthcare and wellness counseling
  • Manage reproductive health concerns
  • Provide prenatal and postpartum care, when applicable
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Educate patients regarding reproductive health and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical staff
  • Accurately document patient encounters within the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Maintain high standards of quality, patient safety, and patient satisfaction


Qualifications


Required

  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
  • Current National Board Certification
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Required)
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR)


Preferred

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Women's Health, OB/GYN, Reproductive Health, or Family Practice experience with a focus on women's healthcare
  • Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) certification is a plus
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with Women's Health experience encouraged to apply
  • Experience in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Strong procedural and patient education skills
