Lead Teacher – Caring Hands Childcare Academy & Preschool
Locations: Westland, MI & Redford, MI
Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications
About Us:
Caring Hands Childcare Academy and Caring Hands Childcare & Preschool are dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for passionate Lead Teachers who are committed to fostering a love for learning in young children.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Assess and track children’s progress to support their developmental milestones.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or a related field) preferred.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in a childcare or preschool setting is required.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
