Lab Technician at High Complexity Lab Weekends transition to Full Time

Handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct
tests reporting findings to a laboratory Director.
 Candidate will be well-trained to maintain safety conditions and will be
passionate for doing work that makes things move forward.
 Responsibilities include receiving and verifying samples, labeling and
preparing specimens according to its purpose, updating databases, disposing
of waste properly, and examining samples for any contamination.
 The Laboratory Technician works under limited supervision of more
experienced technical personnel.
 Able to do limited independent research of basic principles.
 Execute Tests as Defined by Supervisor.
 Report Results in A Clear and Concise Manner as Defined by Supervisor.
 Meticulously Document Data in Laboratory Notebook and Written Reports.
 Follow Established Test Methods Especially PCR and RT_PCR, Sops, And Safe
Lab Practices and Troubleshoot/Make Suggestions When Necessary.
 Make Conclusions and Suggestions for Next Steps, Including Identifying Any
Discrepancies in Data.
 Appropriately Prioritize Workload Based on Input for Supervisor.
 Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with
accuracy and responsibility.
 Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
 Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a
clean and orderly environment.
