Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Part Time Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their cigar shopping needs and ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, working the register, stocking shelves, working occasional in store events, and maintaining the store, lounge, and humidor appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.
Responsibilities
- Greet each customer and provide assistance
- Answer phone and process customer phone orders
- Open/close store
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
- Completing merchandise stocking and store maintenance including dusting, nightly garbage removal, and lounge end of day tasks
- 10-15 hrs. per week (see schedule qualifications below)
- Employee Discount after 30 days
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medium level cigar product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Willingness and motivation to work independently and as a team
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule inclusive of a mix of open, close, holiday, and weekend shifts
- Ability to utilize 3 step ladder for Customer assistance
