Inside Upholsterer

We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Upholsterer to join our team in High Point, NC.

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED insider that is able to work on all different styles and types of high end upholstered furniture.

Ideal candidate will be able to combine speed of production with exceptional quality.

We are a small shop which is great in some ways, but unfortunately we do not offer health insurance.

Why you DO want to work here

Small (about 15 people) , friendly shop that remains pretty much drama free. Everyone sets their own schedule, most folks work 4 day weeks and enjoy 3 day weekends every week! Prefer a 3 or 5 day week? We can make that happen. Set your own start and end time - just be here when you say you will. We offer up to 3 weeks of paid vacation and enough work to keep you covered up. We do not have any heavy handed managers - we assign the work then expect you to do what it takes to build the piece correctly and as quickly as possible while still ensuring quality.

Pay will be a competitive hourly rate plus a production bonus - sort of a combination of piece work and hourly pay to maximize your earning potential. Our goals are easy to meet and bonus easy to reach if you are focused and hard working. Production bonus is paid every 2 weeks with regular pay day.
