Rework Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

· Repair & Rework: Expertise in fine-pitch soldering, de-soldering, and PCB repair techniques, and working closer with microscope.

· Testing & Calibration: Setting up and maintaining workstations for testing and calibrating products.

· Documentation: Documenting processes, repair actions, and maintaining accurate records.

· Collaboration: Working with engineers and quality control teams to resolve defects and contribute to product improvements.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

· Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

· Knowledge of Standards: Understanding of quality standards, such as IPC-A-610, for electronic assemblies.

· Tools & Equipment: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and potentially layout software.

· Communication: Include communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and time management, which are crucial for a rework technician.
