The Mission: Protecting Corporate Integrity & Data Governance

On behalf of our client, a major enterprise organization, we are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Fraud Specialist. This role sits within an elite investigative function responsible for conducting fact-finding inquiries into internal policy violations, compliance matters, and customer privacy concerns.

Working under the guidance of senior investigators, you will be responsible for gathering evidence, analyzing multi-source data, and building comprehensive case files. This is a high-discretion position that demands sound judgment, objective analytical thinking, and meticulous documentation skills. If you are an investigative researcher, legal support specialist, or compliance analyst looking to step into a structured corporate environment, this is your next career move.

Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

  • Investigative Research & Fact-Finding: Conduct structured investigations into policy non-compliance, corporate governance matters, and customer privacy issues in accordance with established procedures.
  • Data Gathering & Analysis: Extract, review, and analyze information from internal databases, enterprise records, and cross-functional business partners to support investigative findings.
  • Case Management & Documentation: Document all investigative activities, evidence, and recommendations in enterprise ticket/case management systems. Maintain immaculate case logs to ensure timely resolution.
  • Executive Summary Preparation: Draft clear, objective investigative summaries, formal reports, and supporting evidence packages for Corporate Investigations, Legal Counsel, Privacy, Compliance, and Human Resources leaders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with internal attorneys, HR business partners, compliance officers, and department heads to gather evidence and resolve complex investigative matters.
  • Privacy & Regulatory Support: Assist with customer privacy inquiries, data breach reviews, and regulatory response activities as needed.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain absolute discretion and handle highly sensitive corporate, employee, and customer information in accordance with rigid legal and company standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional Background: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Corporate Investigations, Compliance, HR Investigations, Fraud/Risk Management, Legal Support, Law Enforcement, or a closely related analytical field.
  • Investigative Skill Set: Proven track record conducting research, gathering evidence, performing root-cause analysis, and writing formal case documentation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with enterprise ticket/case management systems. Basic data analysis and reporting skills are required.
  • Critical Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive matters, strong written/verbal communication, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload against tight deadlines.
  • Education: High school diploma required; some college coursework or a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience handling sensitive customer, employee, or proprietary business data within a corporate environment.
  • Prior exposure to compliance, data privacy, employment policy, or internal corporate audit investigations.
  • Experience using data reporting, case tracking, and documentation tools to summarize multi-source information.

Why Join Our Client’s Team?

  • High-Visibility Impact: Your research and documentation directly protect the organization's legal standing, culture, and customer trust.
  • Structured Professional Development: Learn and execute enterprise investigative frameworks alongside veteran investigators and legal counsel.
  • Balanced Hybrid Model: Enjoy the stability of a collaborative, regional office environment paired with modern workplace flexibility.
