Production Associate - About the Opportunity

PrideStaff has partnered with a premier, long-standing leader in custom marking and identification manufacturing in the Dayton area. Our client produces custom rubber/steel stamps, industrial engravings, custom signage, stencils, and metal/plastic nameplates for commercial and industrial clients nationwide.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate to join their fast-paced manufacturing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating specialized precision equipment, and seeing finished, custom-made products roll off the line, this is the perfect role for you!

Production Associate - Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Assembly: Operate light industrial equipment, laser/rotary engraving machines, stencil cutters, or custom stamp assembly setups.

• Custom Order Fabrication: Prepare materials (metal, acrylic, rubber, vinyl) according to customer job tickets, layout proofs, and exact dimensional specifications.

• Quality Inspection: Visually inspect raw materials and finished marking products (stamps, badges, tags, signs) to ensure strict quality standards before packaging.

• Material Handling & Prep: Load, unload, cut, and sort raw stock and supplies needed for daily production runs.

• Packaging & Shipping Prep: Carefully pack finished custom orders to ensure safe delivery to clients.

• Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop floor environment.

Production Associate - Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in light manufacturing, production assembly, sign making, engraving, or warehouse fabrication.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to read shop order specs, proofs, and measuring tools (rulers, calipers) with high accuracy.

• Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with basic handheld tools, bench machinery, or computer-guided fabrication software (training provided).

• Physical Stamina: Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 35–50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and a positive team-first attitude.
