Assembly Technician - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be an integral part of the production support team, ensuring the precise assembly of intricate aircraft components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Technician

Location: TRAVERSE CITY, MI

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift 4:15pm - 2:45am Monday-Thursday

What's the Job?

• Assemble aircraft components using human-assisted automation in a sterile environment
• Work under a microscope for extended periods to ensure precision
• Maintain accurate data logs and reports of assembly activities
• Communicate discrepancies, deviations, and non-conformances to supervisor
• Support environmental, health, and safety programs by maintaining a clean and safe workspace

What's Needed?

• A high school diploma, GED, or related work experience preferred
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to work in a sterile, controlled environment with proper PPE
• Strong dexterity, fine motor skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to learn new procedures, read written instructions, and operate tools such as height gauges and borescopes
