Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Twin Falls, ID 83301
Pay Rate: $25.28/hour

Duration: Long term Contract

Work Schedule

Candidates must be available to work all shifts.

Possible Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Training:

  • 2–3 weeks on Day Shift.
  • No fixed schedule after training.
  • This is a Union Site, and employees will be assigned based on operational needs.

 


Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic III to provide mechanical and electrical maintenance support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on automated industrial machinery to ensure maximum equipment reliability and production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and industrial automation systems, along with the ability to work any shift in a union manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs.
  • Install, service, and maintain industrial production machinery.

Industrial Automation

  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Maintain and repair automated manufacturing systems.
  • Work with industrial motors, drives, servos, pumps, relays, and communication devices.
  • Diagnose issues involving three-phase electrical systems and power transmission equipment.

Mechanical & Electrical Systems

  • Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Perform machine adjustments and component replacements.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Maintenance Administration

  • Document maintenance activities using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Maintain accurate repair records and preventive maintenance documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of Electro-Mechanical Automation System Installation and Troubleshooting experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military maintenance experience.
  • Technical or vocational school training.
  • Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience working in a union manufacturing environment.
